Traveling by bus - business class!

Argentina is a biiiig country. Mar de Plata, one of the urban centers closest to Buenos Aires, is a 6-hour bus ride.

Now, in any other country, mom hates buses. They are usually more expensive and less comfortable than the train. In the US there are some recent exceptions (Bolt and Megabus) but other than that, the rule is the rule.

In Argentina, buses are FAWESOME. There are various tiers - regular, cama and coche cama. "Cama" means "bed" and "coche-cama" "semi-bed". For an extra (but not unreasonable fee) you can purchase a coche-cama ticket and travel like this:

Depending on the destination, buses leave in the evening and arrive early morning.  During her last visit, mom visited the North (Salta - Jujuy) and spent 20 hours in such a bus.  The driver (one of the two who took shifts on the wheel) distributed snacks, breakfast and dinner as well as blankets and there was a coffee and beverage mini-bar on the bus.

Mom and V. left Buenos Aires at 12:30am and arrived in Mar de Plata at 6:30am, "fresh as lettuce", as the Argentines would say, and ready to start the day.

Now, the question is: how come a service like this hasn't picked up in other countries?
