Open paw surgery

On Friday mom went to Sofia. Thirty minutes before getting on the train, she decided that the lump I had between my toes needed to come out. She had these fine ideas often. Sure, I was limping, but I didn't complain! But once mom gets something in her mind, it's hard to convince her otherwise.

So she had Kiril go to the pharmacy and get some razor blades. Kiril found no blades, so he came back with a shaving razor, which he then took apart and gave mom the blades. Mom cut my toe open and squeezed the pus out. Needless to say, I was not happy.

Then - hear hear! - she run to the train station, leaving me with an open paw and this guy I had only seen a couple of times! What kind of mother does that? Anyway, it all turned out well, because my paw felt a lot better after that, and Kiril took very good care of me. What's even better, I was able to take advantage of his lack of experience with spoiled brats like me, so I had him take me out 6 times a day. Unfortunately mom came back the next day, so my triumph was short-lived. But I suspect there will be more opportunities in the future.
