Over the last couple of weeks, mom has been undergoing suction therapy (a.k.a. "cupping"). She's had a very persistent cough, and being the type who dislikes antibiotics, she decided to try alternative medicine. The doctor gave her a couple of supplements and performed different types of cupping on her (i.e. magnetic and glass cups) and today acupuncture. It's been working out for her, plus it's been a pleasant experience since everybody is very nice at the office and the actual 'cupping' very relaxing.
During today's session, the doctor asked mom how I'm doing. In her extremely poor Bulgarian, mom explained that I'm sick. So what did he do? He asked her to bring me in so that he can have a look at me! How nice is that? So I'm going along for her session tomorrow. I wonder if he'll do cupping on me...or acupuncture...that will be wild!
On the other hand, I've been feeling somewhat better. I'm still not eating much, and mom is worried because she can't figure out whether I'm not feeling well, or I'm just finicky, or too preoccupied with all the girls who are in heat around here (yep, it's that time of the year again! I spend my time whining to go out, even though I don't need to go to the bathroom). It's going to stay that way. This will be my dark secret and I will keep tormenting her with it. Although, now that I'm on the new meds this may change. I already feel a little more hungry and definitely more thirsty due to the steroid medication. So maybe her torture won't last long. At least she hopes so.
